Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) is a Framework Partner Member of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL).
Since the 1st of June 2016, Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) is a Framework Partner Member of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL). This partnership aims to the planning, organization and implementation of specific training programmes for Law Enforcement Officials.
The fruitful collaboration between two parties would like to contribute to the creation and further development of learning opportunities for Law Enforcement Authorities at European and international level, for the prevention and the fighting of serious and organised crime, terrorism, public order, the preparedness of Civilian CSDP Missions, as well the preparation of leadership and language development trainings, focusing in the respect and protection of Human rights and fundamental freedoms.
CEPOL fosters European and international law enforcement cooperation through training.
CEPOL’s vision is to act as a world-class hub, and a driver of change in the law enforcement training. It aims to contributeto European and global security issues by bringing the law enforcement communities closer together to share good practices, knowledge and know-how.

CEPOL is dedicated to develop, implement and coordinate the training of Law Enforcement Officials, bringing together training institutes for law enforcement officials in EU Member States, EU bodies, international organisations, and third countries, pursuing to face the serious threats in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (AFSJ), collectively.
The object of CEPOL’s trainings turns around the EU priorities in the field of security; from the EU Policy Cycle on serious and organised crime. In this direction CEPOL offers innovative and advanced training activities by integrating relevant developments in knowledge, research and technology.
CEPOL’s training activities encompasses residential activities (i.e. seminars, courses, conferences), online learning (i.e. webinars, online modules, online courses, etc.), exchange programmes, common curricula, research and science projects.
