CEPOL Course 53/2019 ‘’Train the trainers, Step 2’’ took place in Thessaloniki, Greece from 16 to 19 September 2019. This training was the continuation of the 1st step held in Nicosia from 8 to 12 July 2019. The overall aim of the course was to connect CEPOL and its network with a core of competent experts, specially trained to provide their expertise in not only a generic multicultural training/working environment but also one tailor-made, especially for CEPOL training activities. The training was organised by the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) and Cyprus Police Academy in cooperation with Hellenic Police Forces, Hellenic Police Academy, Cyprus Open University and CEPOL.

26 participants from 21 Member States, Armenia and eu-LISA Agency, took part in it. The experts highlighted the role of CEPOL’s LMS and of the trainers in preparing and implementing CEPOL activities. Participants had the chance to present their intermodular assignments, made ahead of the course, as well offer constructive criticism and valuable input on them.

  • Vocational education and training
  • Self - paced education for a working LE official
  • Means and methods to capture a younger audience’s attention ‘’Generation Z’’.
  • Implementing webinar, focused on CEPOL Webinars
  • Management of classroom stress
  • Practical Session on 5 to 5 peer review method by reviewing the whole implemented the course.

KEMEA is supervised by the Minister of Citizen Protection of the Hellenic Republic, and it is a scientific, consulting and research agency, whose purpose is to conduct theoretical and applied research and to perform studies, particularly at the strategic level, on security policies.

KEMEA as CEPOL framework partner from 2016 will continue to provide high-quality standards training activities for the Law Enforcement Officials.
